Write With Flying Colours

Are you frustrated with vague or generic feedback on your child’s writing? Our Write With Flying Colours workshop is designed to provide clear, actionable guidance for students needing improvement. Instead of simply highlighting mistakes, we offer in-depth, personalised feedback that helps young writers elevate their compositions.

See Real Improvement

Going Beyond Simple Corrections

Writing is more than just fixing spelling and grammar mistakes. Our approach encourages your child to think deeply about their ideas, structure, and the message they want to convey. By focusing on the bigger picture, your child learns to express themselves in meaningful and creative ways.

Planning, Drafting, and Revising

Writing is a process, and we guide your child through each step of it. From brainstorming ideas to creating a first draft and then revising for clarity and impact, your child will learn essential strategies to improve their work. This process helps them develop critical thinking skills and builds their confidence as writers.

Bringing Characters to Life with FATS

We introduce your child to the FATS technique. This strategy helps your child create vivid characters by exploring how they feel, what they do, what they think, and what they say. As a result, their stories become more engaging and relatable.

Visualising Ideas with Draw & Label

Before your child begins writing, we teach them how to use the Draw & Label strategy. By sketching out scenes and labelling essential details, your child can organise their thoughts and visualise the flow of their story. This method makes it easier to start writing and ensures their ideas are clear and well-structured.

Hear It from Our Parents: Real Stories, Real Results

“As a parent, nothing is more reassuring than knowing your child is in the hands of a dedicated, compassionate and inspiring teacher. Since joining Mdm Sabrina Lee’s class, my son, Aidan, has flourished academically and personally. As a result of her structured yet fun approach to teaching writing and giving immediate feedback after every writing, he has improved from his 12 marks to 17 marks within a semester in Primary 4. Aidan now writes interesting and humorous stories that make me laugh, too.”
